#OOTD: Comfy, Sporty, and Chic Summer Style

Hey!! What’s up?! Happy Thursday. It is such a lovely summer, August day, I just had to pull up to one of my favorite photo spots, a random empty storage building, and get some pics of a sporty chic outfit I enjoyed wearing. This outfit is simple but stylish. I rocked a pair of black joggers, a gorgeous grey sleeveless closed-neck top, and of course, … Continue reading #OOTD: Comfy, Sporty, and Chic Summer Style

All About Navy! [Featuring Crush & Co. Boutique!]

DSC_9482Hey everyone! This past Sunday I had the chance to again shoot with some of my fave people from the local Edmonton boutique: Crush & Co. They are located on the west side and if you’re from anywhere else in the city, they are well worth a shopping trip! Don’t get it twisted though, fellas check out the website… there is a huge selection of clothing for men.

The full outfit, including accessories(minus the boots and purse), is from Crush & Co. The beautiful and bold two-toned navy blue coat is perfect for cool fall and winter days, and is definitely a statement piece. It has a felt/tweed type of texture on the outside, and has a one-hook closure. There is some utility with a pocket on each side. It is also very comfy! Which is something some structured coats do not offer. This jacket is currently at the boutique, so check it out, there is literally only a few left. I must admit, I loved the professionalism this look gave off.

I wore a matching navy and white Daniel Wellington Glasgow watch to compliment the coat. Crush & Co. has a bunch of Daniel Wellington watches if you are a fan of this brand 🙂 They are excellent quality and super stylish, yet very minimalistic. Continue reading “All About Navy! Walking in a Winter Wonderland!

IMG_2989Hey everyone! This past Tuesday, Dapo (aka Lord Ski Photography) and I decided to take advantage of the freshly fallen snow and have a winter photo shoot. His friend Frank came along as his assistant. We took a few photos on the very top of a parkade that overlooked Edmonton’s beautiful downtown skyline, but we were shortly kicked off by a security guard…really though?! That didn’t stop us from getting nice shots at the City Hall, The Art Gallery of Alberta, and a park downtown. It as fun, I wouldn’t have spent the afternoon any other way…other than switching the temperature from -14C to +14C!

We also did something different this time… an outfit video! Shot and edited by Lord Ski Photography. Continue reading “Walking in a Winter Wonderland!”

Ways to Wear: Shades of Red! (ft. Shades of Grey Boutique)

Hey everyone! I am VERY excited about this post. I got to collaborate with a beautiful, local boutique here in Edmonton, called Shades of Grey. The owner/manager, Marina, was very kind and welcoming, and the rest of their staff is ALL smiles. They are located in downtown Edmonton, and have an amazing selection! Dresses, blouses, pants, shorts, and even shoes and accessories! I decided to choose outfits that had red in them, hence the title Shades of Red! Red is definitely in myLOGO1_wordpress top 5 favourite colours to wear, and honestly a vibrant outfit just exudes that extra oomf of energy when you walk into a room.

I created a little lookbook of outfits that would be perfect for summer day in the city. These looks can be used for going out on the patio at a restaurant, a nice date, or even at work, depending where you work!

The photographer for these photos, Lindsay Thompson, was so fun to spend the day with! The location of majority of these photos is at the Royal Alberta Museum, just west, past downtown. Lindsay and I had such a blast going on tour at the Government House! Who would have thought that our blog shoot session would become educational lol. Anyways, all the photos are below. Enjoy and let me know what you think! Details are below each outfit, and everything mentioned is at Shades of Grey right now!

#OOTD: Denim, Denim, Denim!

Hey everyone! I caught up with a photographer/friend of mine, Danica Stonehouse! She is the owner of Shoot or Be Shot. I recently found out that denim on top and bottom is called the “Canadian Tuxedo,” so this is my take on it, I guess! You can see the details of everything in the outfit at the bottom. Thanks for checking out my post and have a great day! 🙂 IMG_0786 as Smart Object-1 Continue reading “#OOTD: Denim, Denim, Denim!”
