Hey everyone! Happy #ThrowbackThursday! Here is an event that I sadly haven’t posted about yet, but it’s WELL worth posting 🙂
On July 27th, Tastemakers held the 3rd annual Jive Glasshouse Garden Party. It was a very hot, but beautiful afternoon, LOTS of sun, and everyone looked amazing in all white! I was the MC for this event, and I had a pleasure introducing the sponsors and local talent, Jessica Holtby, Karima, and DJ Mitchmatic! I was honestly blown away by Karima’s performance…after her original set was over, the crowd wanted more, so she gave it to them 🙂
At this event, there was a lot of socializing going on, and there was a ton of new faces! There were also activities like wafer golf (golf where you tried to get the ball in a bowl), bubbles, a candy bar, a huge selfie mirror, and of course photographers to take photos! There was gorgeous furniture and delicious hors d’ouvrés, although I was running around so much, I didn’t get to try it all!

All white is a classic, timeless look that you can really wear anytime during the summer! What I love about wearing all white is that it’s bold, but a subtle kind of bold. You’re noticeable but not obnoxiously flashy, and it just looks clean, simple, and classy. Don’t get me wrong, you can still be ratchet wearing all white, haha, like if it’s too thin and see-through… but ANYWAYS, this is a look that I hope would inspire anyone that wants to wear all white. This past weekend I put together this outfit because I’m STILL undecided about what to wear to the Tastemakers’ Jive Glasshouse Garden Party tomorrow afternoon, which I will be hosting and interviewing people at! Check out the look below, details under photos as usual! For information about attending the Jive Glasshouse party tomorrow, official invitation is at the bottom of this post! Thanks 🙂

Hello everyone! Ooooh I’ve been gone for a while, but I’m back and I’ve got a new event I’d like to share with you all! It was called Golden Moments, held at the Citadel in downtown Edmonton, and it was a great time! The theme was gold, so people had to dress or accessorize in gold. Some people had gold clothes, some had gold chains, and some had gold grillz! As usual I interviewed people and asked them questions about their lives and of course, Edmonton, our city! Happy Tuesday everyone! How was your Halloween weekend? I spent my Halloween at MadeInEdmtn‘s Yelloween and had a blast! It was such a different way to spend Halloween compared to the typical pubcrawl or house party, that I really wanted to share it with you all. Continue reading “MadeInEdmtn Presents: Yelloween”
