#OOTD: Zara Suede Jacket & Ripped Boyfriend Jeans | Spring Outfit

Happy Sunday Funday!! While Edmonton clearly hasn’t gotten the memo that it’s spring and time to warm up, I’m done with winter parkas and bulk sweaters. In today’s post, I’ve styled a sassy and ever-so-versatile outfit perfect for brunchin’ with friends, going on a lunch date at a local pub or cafe with your boo, hittin’ the mall, a concert, and so many other daytime/evening events!

I usually don’t combine two statement pieces, in this case the jacket and the ripped jeans, but they just compliment each other so damn well! Continue reading “#OOTD: Zara Suede Jacket & Ripped Boyfriend Jeans | Spring Outfit”

Look Book #1 – Styling a Denim Jacket (Video)

Hey y’all! It’s getting close to spring now…kinda…ish…okay, not really. The snow in Edmonton is (so far) here to stay (and sadly increase), but at least the temperatures are not too bad! I mean, we had slush, puddles, and mud a week ago! Anyways, my point is, it’s been warm enough to ditch the heavy winter parkas and throw on a bomber jacket, leather jacket, … Continue reading Look Book #1 – Styling a Denim Jacket (Video)

#OOTD: Kinda Casual…Kinda Glamorous

Happy Tuesday! If you’re like me, you’re just getting back from a long weekend (Family Day Monday!). I just got back from my 11 day trip in Halifax and let me tell you, after witnessing five feet of snow fall in one night in the east, I’m happy to be back in Alberta. As you see in my pics taken yesterday, we have barely any snow left, if any at all (fingers crossed it stays this way)! Halifax was fun though, for many reasons! Anyways, I called this OOTD post “kinda casual…kinda glamorous” because, well, it kinda is BOTH.

#OOTD: Hello Sunshine! [Vintage Shopping In My Mom’s Closet]

The snow is finally melting and the sun is shining! Spring is coming! One of my very favorite things to wear when it’s at that “just warm enough to get away with no jacket” weather is a big wool statement sweater. My mom actually pulled this sweater for me from out of her wardrobe. It’s from back in the late ’80s, so I’d call that vintage! I love love love the red on it and thought I’d pair it with a red leather purse (also my mom’s from back in the day). Thanks Ma! Full outfit details at the bottom, and thanks to my Dad for being my photographer! XOXO.
